InterEnergy Group leads Electric Vehicle Charging throughout the Caribbean and Central America

  • InterEnergy is following up on its successful electric vehicle charging launch in the Dominican Republic and plans to install the first 200 electric car charging stations in Panama by December 2021.

Evergo, a technology platform that is part of InterEnergy Group’s portfolio, which has become the most sophisticated and clean network of electric charging stations in the region, initiated the installation of two hundred charging stations for electric mobility in Panama. The Evergo charger network in Panama will be powered by 100% renewable energy, and has been dubbed “Ruta al Sol”.

InterEnergy is the first Latin American signatory to The Climate Group’s #EV100 initiative, a global initiative that brings together visionary companies around the world committed to accelerating the transition to electric vehicles and making electric transportation the new standard by 2030. In Panama, InterEnergy Group has been providing 100% renewable energy supply agreements to progressive corporates by leveraging its ownership of the largest wind farm in Central America and the Caribbean, UEP II at 215MW, and its 40 MW Ikakos Solar Park.
