Kip has over twenty years of global emerging market investing experience and is a founding Managing Partner of AIC Caribbean Fund. He worked with International Finance Corporation as an investment professional for 19 years before joining Portland Private Equity. He is on the boards of Columbus International, Advantage General, and the National Commercial Bank of Jamaica.

Rob helped launch AIC Caribbean Fund and is a Managing Partner of Portland Private Equity. He is an accomplished business person with a strong background in corporate strategy and operations. He was formerly an executive at Loblaw Companies, Canada’s largest retailer, and led the creation of a direct bank at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. He has served on the board of Columbus International and is currently on the boards of Advantage General and the National Commercial Bank of Jamaica.

Joe has over twenty years experience in negotiating, structuring, and closing a wide variety of transaction types. He is a Managing Partner of Portland Private Equity, in addition to his investment origination and portfolio company responsibilities, he looks after the financial operations of AIC Caribbean Fund. Joe founded a successful valuation practice earlier in his career and is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator by training.

Doug has over twelve years of private equity and venture capital experience. Prior to joining Portland Private Equity as a Partner he was responsible for co-founding and leading two successful investment management firms.
At Portland, he has primary responsibility for investor relations, is a member of the fund’s Investment Committee, and involved in all aspects of the fund’s management. -
As a Senior Vice President of Portland Private Equity, Mariame is part of the investment team and is focused on deal origination, diligence, structuring, documentation, and mentoring. She has spent over eight years as a strategy consultant with Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company. She attended Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar and is an alumnus of both M.I.T. and Harvard University. Mariame co-founded "Nation Building," an organization that brings African-American graduate students together.

Mark is a Vice President of Portland Private Equity and joined the team in 2009. Prior to joining, he was leading a consortium’s efforts to redevelop the town of Port Antonio, Jamaica. The consortium involved the Government of Jamaica, Michael Lee-Chin, Jamaica’s utility companies, some of Jamaica’s largest corporations, and local entrepreneurs. Mark was formerly a consultant with McKinsey & Company, and is a member of the Florida Bar and the American Bar Association. He is a graduate of Harvard University.
